Banana Project
This was my third banana project I have participated in. Each of the times I do one of these projects, I've done a poster format. This time, I wanted to experiment with a video. I used tennis as my concept because we were doing popular french sports and I actually am on the tennis team.
S'more Video
This was my first draft of my s'more tutorial video. I created this without much
planning and no storyboard. I created the music with bandlab and used wevideo to edit. We did a feedback cycle and I got a ton of good feedback to make my video better.
I decided to start from scratch for my second video. I created a storyboard in order to organize my thoughts and create a visual plan and then started my final video.
Final S'more Video
During the feedback cycle on my first video, It was brought up that the sped up part of me cooking the marshmallow looked like a stop motion. I thought this was a cool idea and decided to create a stop motion on procreate and add it into my final video.

I then filmed the rest of my clips and edited them together in wevideo. The music from my first video didn't quite fit the aesthetics of my second video so I chose one of the tracks provided by wevideo. I finished my video up but something still felt off.
I didn't like the font and the colors seemed bland and just kind of unoriginal. I didn't quite know what steps to take next to get my video where I wanted it. So, I requested another feedback cycle and used the advice of my peers to finalize my video.

Reflection
I think this was a fun project especially because it was a project i missed out on last year. I think that I want to begin to explore Adobe Premiere Pro instead of wevideo as it would create a higher level of video. I also would have gone back and made my video longer and have it reach the one minute mark. I made mine shorter because I felt like the 1 minute length made the video awkward. I also would have gone back and added french vocab/instructions into my video but I'll put them in here instead.

Storytelling
We started storytelling by looking into some other moth stories and reviewing our stories from last year. We then spent a few blocks brainstorming and thinking of ideas we could use in this years story. It took me a really long time to figure out a story to use because none of them felt right or important enough to me. I really liked my story from last year and I was trying to find a story to top that which is where I went wrong. I decided to stop thinking about doing better than last year and finding a story that was meaningful to me.

This was the first light draft of my story. Even before I told it, I knew I needed to storyboard and plan it out a bit more which is basically the advice I received In feedback.
For the final story slam I was nervous but I had planned everything out really well and I felt prepared. Here's my final story!

Colombo Curry Mac N Cheese
This is my second year doing the Ag in the Classroom Mac & Cheese challenge. Last year due to a problem in our planning, they did not get submitted. This year we had some constraints as part of our french aspect. We had to draw inspiration from a non-white french speaking country, I chose Guadeloupe. I discovered a kind of curry dish from Guadeloupe called colombo curry. It was obvious that this country had some sort of influence from india or some western Europe countries. The flavor combination seemed really interesting so I decided to
go for it. I looked at a bunch of different curry mac n
cheese recipes and a colombo curry recipe and combined

While I was cooking I was also filming my advertisement video. Last year I had a good video but this year I wanted to do something better. I spent more time trying to get higher quality shots. It was helpful to have Paul and Rachel lending me a hand in the cooking so I could focus more on filming. It all paid off in the end and I won third place in the competition.

Project Proposal
As soon as I got this assignment I immediately knew what I wanted to do for my project. Last year, we had a similar version of this assignment where I decided to make an album. I quickly realized I didn't have nearly enough time to make an album and switched my project (which I never actually finished). I felt like I had left a great idea unexplored and wanted to create something cool. This year, I was determined to create two albums with full album art and a rave room for my capstone. I also wanted to eventually release them both on spotify.
